Discussions of a collaboration between Brothers and Chaco Canyon Organic Cafe been ongoing for some months now about the what, when, where, and how. We have come to the conclusion that our best route to building community is to give those less fortunate. To accomplish this using our shared culinary passion, we are throwing the Fall Harvest Benefit Dinner with all profits going to the Downtown Emergency Services Center (DESC).
The DESC works every day to help homeless adults affected by mental illness, chemical dependency, and multiple disabilities off of Seattle's streets and into housing, more than any other local homeless provider in the area.
You can assist us in helping DESC accomplishing their noble goal by joining us for an evening of local, vegan fare and local art at the Upper Crust in Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood. Our two kitchens will be collaborating on a four-course meal with generous donations from local companies Ralph's Greenhouse and Proletariat Wine Company, among others. There will also be local art to view and beautiful center pieces provided by Vivarium, which will also be for purchase.
Let's build community through strengthening all those in it. Everyone deserves food, shelter, and support.
